Awful day

6.30am started from Madurai

10am reached shengottai

10.30am started from shengottai

2pm reached kollam

2.30 started from kollam

3.45 reached varkala

Till 4.30 searched hotels around varkala, fed up by reference from net.

Also off-season, so only I and wife was there. No people around the place.

 Definitely don’t visit in off season.

And finally chose “the sanctum spring beach resort”. the only person stayed in the hotel with no one there.

Night we had fish and noodles. Fish was bad and old also the noodles.

Day 2

Lazy day

Woke late at morning . had a tea with a small walk to helipad.

Then visited varkala temple. And moved to varkala city.

After having a sleep at the room walked to beach. Had beachside dinner in the beach, which was a superb in the entire trip.do not miss this beachside dinner.also the dish they served was not expensive and had Indian dishes.

The hotel stay was pleasant. We were in October-off season so there was no crowd. Only me,my wife and little kid was there in the hotel. The stay was safe and lone, loneliness is not interesting.

Bad food . fish food was very bad.

At night watching the rain in helipad is awesome.the breeze from the sea is superb,only then u feel.

after all now at my home i and my wife miss that wonderful spot.

The last evening we(my wife and kid) had a evening till night dinner @ along side the beach hotel, which exite us till now. They cost less and admire lot.

I suggest not to miss that beach side hotel sit out for dinner near lower cliff.

kappil lake is the one we missed.we had not heard of it while we where there.
